Dr. Tim Sagers

Dr. Tim Sagers, President, Captive Health

A family practice physician by training, Dr Sagers has spent much of his career focused on disease management, care model innovation and wellness promotion. Dr Sagers graduated from the University of Iowa Carver School of Medicine and completed his residency with the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation. Dr Sagers is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. 

In addition to his 20 years of clinical practice, Dr Sagers has 10+ years’ experience with business health, employee health programming, and telehealth service provision and program development. He is passionate about providing employer value and adapting to the changing needs of the healthcare industry. He is an active and engaging physician leader and has spoken regionally and nationally on employer facing topics  

In his free time, he enjoys time with family, reading, running and anything outdoors.
